Her first professional appearances as a performer were in Bye Bye Birdie in her 13th year[3] and in The Sound of Music in Marpole Community Theatre at age 14. As a child, she was a dancer on The Irish Rovers variety television show[2] and appeared in the musical "The Sound Of Music" at age 14.
